Festival Success and G-Star

The festival was a great success thanks to the volunteers and many supporters attending the festival. Chairman Choi commented:
"I personally had a very good time at the festival meeting and discussing a wide range of topics with both guests, volunteers and officials. I was lucky enough to sample some of the wonderful foods available and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and music throughout the day. It was also great to see and meet Guyana's President Donald Ramotar. He was very accessible to many of the people in attendance and it was great to see him having a good time interacting with festival guests. G-Star is committed to not only developing its exploration projects in Guyana, but also supporting local and foreign community based projects that raise cultural awareness."

G-Star Mining is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ulrich Kretschmar to Director. Over the past year Dr. Kretschmar has proved to be a great asset to the company and has completed much research in defining research to G-Star’s interests.
G-Star recently wrapped up 2 busy weeks of post PDAC convention meetings. The company held several executive level meetings to introduce new directors and up coming nominees. As well, several discussions about the acquisition of 2 advanced and ready to drill projects in Canada were discussed, along with advancing Guyana projects with Joint ventures with larger Canadian firms. 
G-Star Mining Corp. would like to welcome Mr. Ron Hall as a new Director and Vice President of Operations. Mr. Hall has over 35 years of experience in the operation, management and design of metallurgical plants. His experience and practical knowledge of the mining industry will be an invaluable asset in the assessment and valuation of potential mining and exploration projects that best fit into the company’s growth.
